The FDA considers meal replacement diets as the most effective means of weight loss. Couple the nutritional delivery inherent in RightSize and you have a proven, effective way of reducing calories---the ONLY way to lose weight. Our program is balanced, nutritional and a proven method of losing weight.

The key to losing weight is burning more calories than you consume over an extended period of time. RightSize is a nutritious, low calorie meal replacement smoothie that uses a patented formula to help aggressively manage your appetite.

FACT: One pound of fat is approximately equal to 3500 calories.

FACT: If you want to lose 2 pounds a week you need to reduce your calories by 7000 a week and/or increase your activity to burn extra calories.

FACT: If you consume 100 calories a day more than your body needs, you will gain approximately 10 pounds in a year.

If you have a lifestyle that currently maintains your weight
here are some things you can do to lose weight.
Walk an extra mile a day 1 pound a month
15 minutes of exercise with weights a day 1.5 pounds a month
Cut your calories by 500 a day 4 pounds a month
Cut your calories by 1000 a day 8 pounds a month
NOTE: Health professionals recommend aiming for a weight loss of 1 to 2 pounds a week, and keeping active when you're on a diet - pushing your body into starvation mode is counterproductive.

FACT: If you eat too few calories a day, your body will go into starvation mode and your metabolism will decrease.

The lowest intake per day recommended for females is 1,200 calories.
The lowest level recommended for males is 1,500 calories per day.

AN EXAMPLE:

Hi, My name is Louis Wait. I want to lose 2 pounds a week.

I weight 195 pounds, 5'9", Female and have a Sedentary (someone with a "desk job" who does not exercise at all) lifestyle. The calculator shows that I burn 1983 calories a day.

If I cut my calories a day to 1200 and do not change my lifestyle, I cannot meet my goal of losing 2 pounds a week. The best I can do is 1.5 pounds a week. Therefore, I need to increase my daily activity. I need to add light exercise 1 - 3 days per week. This will increase the calories I burn to 2272 a day. If I keep my calories to between 1200-1300 a day, I can meet my goal of losing 2 pounds a week. That means I can eat two 525 calorie meals and drink one 200 calorie RightSize® Smoothie or eat one 850 calorie meal and drink two 200 calorie RightSize® Smoothies a day.

TIPS & SUGGESTIONS

A medium-sized adult would have to walk more than 30 miles to burn up 3,500 calories, the equivalent of one pound of fat. Although that may seem like a lot, you don't have to walk the 30 miles all at once. Walking a mile a day for 30 days will achieve the same result, providing you don't increase your food intake to negate the effects of walking.
Get a set of weights and do 15 minutes a day of weight lifting. Body building is especially important for women. You will lose 300 calories a day or nearly 2000 a week
Drink 2 delicious RightSize® Smoothies every day to cut calories, manage your appetite, and get 100% of your daily needs of vitamins and minerals.
