6 Week Challenge

I'm on Week 3.
It started as an experiment. I was trying to design a tool that would be useful for making small minigoals that people could really focus on - instead of getting bogged down in the idea of spending weeks, months, even years on their weight loss goals. I made a 6 week calendar, (you can get it here), and I've been replacing two meals a day with a smoothie. The remaining meal and snacks that I eat are sensible and well portioned. I'm not counting any calories, or measuring, or weighing anything...just being reasonable.
Well - without changing anything about my exercise level - I have lost 8 pounds in those two weeks. Yay!
I still have a good ways to go, but I'm 8 pounds closer. Everyone loses weight differently, but if you safely eat fewer calories than you burn through metabolism and exercise, you will lose weight. It's just that simple.
So I'm doing the 6 week challenge...what are YOU waiting for?

Thanks for all the great comments! I am so happy for all of you:) Keep the recipes coming... Might start a new blog post just for that purpose where we can post our delicious mixes. Also planning on doing a weekly update blog on my weight loss where we can all post our victories! Thanks again! - Jennifer
